What do I need to get started?
A Claude account at claude.ai (the free plan works). That’s it: no system to install and no coding. You add your agent to Claude as a custom connector.
Do I need my own system?
No. Every plan includes realistic S/4HANA practice data. When you’re ready, you can connect your own S/4HANA system.
Which AI tools does it work with?
Claude (web, desktop and mobile, including the free plan, which allows one custom connector).
Is it safe?
All tools are read-only, limited to approved tables, and every call is logged. Personal data such as names, emails and bank details is masked.
Can I run my agent on my own server?
On Pro and Business you can deploy your agent to your own SAP BTP account today, in one click from the Studio (Pro: one subaccount, Business: up to ten). Your own server (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud or on-premise) and your own deployment pipeline are coming soon.
Can I use these agents on BTP or in my own pipeline?
Yes. Deploy to BTP works today on Pro and Business; your own server and build pipeline are coming soon. You get tools that are already tested and secured instead of starting from scratch.
Which AI builds my agent?
Claude by Anthropic. The Studio uses Claude Haiku on Free and Starter, Claude Sonnet on Pro and Business, and Claude Opus for complex designs on Business. Questions you ask your agent in Claude run on your own Claude plan.
How is this different from Joule?
Joule is SAP’s own assistant. Syntaai Labs teaches you to connect AI like Claude to business systems through MCP, a skill that works across AI products, and lets you practise without a licence.
