Get a free SAP BTP trial account

To deploy an agent to your own SAP BTP you need a subaccount with Cloud Foundry. SAP gives everyone a free trial that already has this set up. It takes about ten minutes and no credit card.

1. Register (or sign in) with SAP

• Open account.hanatrial.ondemand.com.
• Sign in with your SAP Universal ID. If you have none, choose Register and create one with your e-mail (any address works; a company address is fine). Confirm the e-mail SAP sends you.
• The first time, SAP asks for a phone number and sends a verification code.

2. Create the trial

• After signing in, click Go To Your Trial Account. SAP creates your global account.
• Choose a region when asked. Pick Singapore (ap21) for India and Asia, or US East (us10) otherwise. Both are fine; the Deploy tab adjusts to whichever you chose.
• Wait for the subaccount trial to appear. It comes with Cloud Foundry enabled, an org, a space called devand all the entitlements our deployment needs (memory, authorization, destination, connectivity).

3. Find your region in the cockpit

• Click the trial subaccount, then Overview.
• Under Cloud Foundry Environment you see the API Endpoint, for example https://api.cf.ap21.hana.ondemand.com. The part after api.cf. is your region.

4. Deploy from Syntaai Labs

• In the Studio, build your agent, then tell Syntaai Agent “deploy this to my BTP”.
• Pick that region in the panel on the right.
• When asked for a BTP code, open the link shown (it looks like https://login.cf.ap21.hana.ondemand.com/passcode), sign in, copy the code and paste it in the box in the panel. A code works once and for about ten minutes; we never store it. You will need one code for the check and a new one for the deploy.
• When the deploy finishes, the chat gives you the connector URL for Claude.

5. Let people in

• BTP cockpit → your subaccount → Security → Users → your user → Assign Role Collection → the collection named Labs_<agent>_User (the chat tells you the exact name). Only users with it can connect in Claude.
• In Claude: Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector → paste the URL → Connect → sign in with your BTP user.

Good to know about trials

• Trial apps are stopped every night. Tell Syntaai Agent “start my apps” and paste a code; they are back in a minute.
• The trial lasts 90 days and can be extended from the cockpit as long as you sign in now and then.
• SAP data flows once your SAP system is connected through a Cloud Connector and the destination S4H_RFC; the “Sheet for the Basis team” in the Deploy tab lists exactly what to set up. Until then the agent runs, but table reads answer that SAP is not reachable.
